Host for the MARTIAL ARTS RADIO NETWORK is Gary Gabelhouse. Gabelhouse is a longtime martial-arts practitioner and teacher with senior dan ranking in Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate-do and Daitoryu Aikijujutsu. Gabelhouse began his martial path after finding Golden Gloves boxing in 1963. He postponed traveling his martial path as he spent over the next three decades focusing on non-martial, extreme sports: Rock Climbing; Ice Climbing; Expeditionary Mountaineering; Ski Mountaineering; White Water Rafting; and, SCUBA Diving. Gabelhouse came back to his martial path in 1988. He entered the traditional dojo of American Karate Pioneer, John Roseberry-Shihan. Throughout the remainder of the 20th Century, and on into the 21st Century, Gabelhouse traveled extensively worldwide and sought out dojo, dojang and martial-training opportunities throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia. In 1994 and as a yudansha in Goju Ryu Karate, Gabelhouse found himself invited to train Daitoryu Aikijujutsu at the Daibukan Dojo of Kenkichi Ohgami-Sensei in Nishinomiya, Japan. Over several years of training in Japan, Gabelhouse received dan ranking in Daitoryu Aikijujutsu. Gabelhouse has traveled and taught extensively in support of his lifelong teacher, John Roseberry - Shihan. As well, he has provided training to members of Law Enforcement, the U.S. Military and Private Military and Security Contractors in North, South, and Central America, Europe, Africa and Asia. both Goju Ryu Karate-do and Daitoryu Aikijujutsu at ROSEBERRY'S
